Soo little. 2 weeks old and almost 2 more pounds and 2 more inches. He started at 7.15lbs and 20 inches at the end of 2 weeks was 10 and 22.5 inches. Such growth.
This is Aimee with one of her foster kids, I think it's Isabella? I know her brother is Manuel. They've been fostering for two months now and have had something like 5 or 6 kids come through their home. Aimee is so good at this and so loving to these kids with their needs to be loved. This was at one week of age for Phineas so after church I just wanted to sit inside on the comfy couch and not in the sun. It was actually really nice. I sat there while the kids ran through. I was like a little light in the middle of a dancing forest.
And after the party we took wonderful naps. That has been the highlight of this summer. Nap time. I don't know if Oliver would agree, but for Ryan and I (Phineas has to side with us right now) that noon til 4 time of day is the best. Even now, I am sitting with the wind blowing through the trees and breeze making it's way through our beach house.
