May and Angie visits

Emmett loves this litte guy too. Emmett is soo old now. I remember how small he was when Oliver was born. He's a man now.
And Angie is amazing. She has so much love for our boys because we are family together. Angie knows how to make sure that we have everything we need. She has been so nurturing to us, looking out for us around every corner. I don't know how she gets this love and keeps it going, but she and I were talking today about the family plates that Ryan and I bought one trip to Virginia for our closest friends so that we could all eat together some time on the same plates. And I was looking at a picture of Angie at our wedding. I am so thankful for friends like these. The kind that mirror God's love and grace. The ones that made me humble knowing that I don't deserve but gladly welcome such love.

And that Elliette is soo old now. She's about to go into kindergarden. She draws wonderful flags when she comes over. She was our first friend-baby. I remember laying on the floor or on the bed with her for lots of time admiring her life. She still loves me like she can somehow remember that. I got her to fall asleep at probably the age Finn is in these pictures by singing Happy Birthday quietly on repeat. Ryan and I picked her up from her school the other day and when she stood I saw Angie and started crying quietly right then and there.

I didn't realize it then, but this little man might be praying. He looks like an old pope.
